ALMOND BUTTER DATE CARAMEL TART

Naturally sweet, velvety and elegant. A refined dessert with no refined sugar.

INGREDIENTS

Crust:
1 cup almond flour
2 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup

Caramel:
1 cup Medjool dates, soaked
¼ cup almond butter
2 tbsp coconut milk
1 pinch sea salt

Topping:
Dark chocolate shavings or cacao nibs


DESCRIPTION

Mix crust ingredients and press firmly into a tart mold. Chill while preparing the caramel.

Blend soaked dates with almond butter, coconut milk and salt until ultra smooth. Spread evenly over crust and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Finish with chocolate shavings or cacao nibs before slicing. Store chilled for best texture.
